We serve
adults 18 or older with disabilities which may limit their skills
in communication, mobility, self care, decision making, social
skills, and behavior control. Many of our homes are accessible
for people who have mobility problems. We serve people of all
cognitive functioning levels from severe/profound to mild mental
retardation.
The
services we provide: We provide residential services in
small homes with private bedrooms located in the community.
We also provide services in the individuals own home.
Individuals
attend various day programs at our sheltered workshop in Du
Quoin, or work in the community with a job coach. Each individual
is assigned a Residential Case Manager and a Day Program Case
Manager. The Residential Case Manager acts as an advocate for
the individuals residential needs, such as health, Adaptive
Living Skills programs/ goals, and meeting everyday needs of
the individual. The Day Program Case Manager works with people
on enhancing daily living and job skills, or programs specialized
for retired people and people with autism.

Staff
at our homes are specially trained to provide for the needs
of each individual. Background checks, drug tests, and fingerprinting
are completed on each staff person employed.
Family
support and home based services are also available to those
who qualify.
